Keystone Soul Weekender

Julio Fernandez lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania & David Raistrick lives in Skegness, England. They represent two generations but have something in common: their passion for record collecting and soul music. Julio is the drummer of Philly-based band The West Kensingtons and Madrid-based band The Peeping Toms and founder of the Red Rose Soul Club in Lancaster, and previously Boss Sounds to Beat the Ground and Cool Reggae Nights in Spain. David runs the Tamla Coffee Bar & Record Shop and the Original Skegness Soul Weekender among many other record selling outlets and soul events since the 70s. They met in 2015 and started planning to have a 3-day weekender of SOUL MUSIC in Lancaster, PA with DJs from all around the country and the world spinning records at 45rpm. They found a beautiful venue, the Elks Lodge, that boasts a large wooden ballroom and dancefloor. The 1st Keystone State Northern Soul Weekender took place on November 2016 and it was a success.
